Joel Campbell linked with Serie A move

Tuttosport has learned that Torino are weighing up a summer bid for Arsenal forward Joel Campbell.

I Granata chiefs are determined to continue the recent uptrend in fortunes and they are in the market for high-profile signings.

According to Tuttosport, Torino are hot on the trail of Arsenal winger Joel Campbell, who could be leaving the Gunners at the end of the season.

Despite impressing for Costa Rica at the 2014 World Cup, the 22-year-old was mostly restricted to substitute appearances at the Emirates and in turn decided to join Villarreal on a short-term loan.

And with his contract at Arsenal due to expire in June 2016, Campbell could be available for sale at a reasonable price in the summer transfer window.

The Costa Rica star started nine La Liga matches since arriving at El Madrigal, while making another four appearances in club’s Europa League campaign, but he has yet to score his first goal.
