Chelsea captain John Terry is being mentioned as a target for local rivals West Ham, according to The Telegraph.
The former England star recently revealed that he had not been offered a new deal at Stamford Bridge, meaning that he could be leaving at the end of the season.
And while China, MLS and Middle East are also mentioned as possible destinations, West Ham will attempt to persuade the veteran to remain in the Premier League.
That is not going to be an easy task considering that Terry has the opportunity to earn the final lucrative contract of his career should he choose one of said opportunities, but the Hammers clearly hope the centre-back will want to prove Chelsea bosses wrong and remain in England for another season.
It was at West Ham that Terry had began his career, but only spent five years there before joining the Blues in 1995.
