Fulham manager Martin Jol has revealed that talented midfielder Pajtim Kasami could be farmed out on loan.
The Swiss midfielder joined the Cottagers from Palermo last summer and showed a lot of potential at the start of his career at Craven Cottage.
The player has, however, seen his first team chances very limited following the heavy summer recruitment and Martin Jol reveals the player is unhappy with his current status.
“Kasami is a youngster and if everyone is sound and well he won’t start, he knows that,” Jol told the Fulham Chronicle. “That’s a bit of a problem with him because he wants to play all the time.”
The Dutch coach believes a season-long loan would be the best solution for all the parties.
“I feel he should do a bit better and push for a starting place but he’s not there yet. I think he could benefit from a loan spell.”
The attacking midfielder began his professional career at Belinzona, but joined Palermo after just one season in Swiss Super League.
The 20-year-old made a total of 14 Serie A appearances for the Rosanero before signing for Fulham last summer, and has since featured in 8 Premier League games for the Cottagers.
