Lille forward Jonathan David is keen on a move to Barcelona in the summer of 2025, according to Fichajes. David is out of contract at at Lille at the end of the season and Barcelona are reportedly looking at a potential deal for the Canada international forward.
Encouragingly for Barcelona, David himself is willing to move to Barcelona on a free transfer at the end of the season. The Canadian has established himself as one of the better forward players in mainland Europe. The 24-year-old has scored 11 goals and given one assist in 11 Ligue 1 starts and has found the back of the net four times in four UEFA Champions League starts so far this season.
Barcelona, who want to sign Jonathan Tah, are at the top of the La Liga table at the moment with 37 points from 16 matches, four points ahead of defending champion and second-placed Real Madrid, who have played 15 games. Meanwhile, Lille currently find themselves third in the Ligue 1 table.
