Jonjoe Kenny to leave Everton permanently?

According to The Liverpool Echo, Jonjoe Kenny will leave Everton at the end of the season after his loan spell at Celtic ends. Kenny joined Scottish Premiership giants Celtic on loan from Premier League rivals Everton in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that the 23-year-old right-back will leave Everton on a permanent basis in the summer of 2021. The youngster has been on the books of the Merseyside club since 2006, but he has made only 35 appearances in the Premier League for the first team.

The former England Under-21 international has been out on loan in recent years, turning out for the likes of Wigan Athletic and Schalke. It would make sense for the young right-back to find a new club where he can play regularly and flourish. According to WhoScored, Kenny has provided one assist in seven Scottish Premiership matches for Celtic.
