Jordan Ayew talks up Bundesliga move

Lorient striker Jordan Ayew has added fuel to speculation linking him with a summer move to German Bundesliga.

The Ghana hotshot had earlier attracted interest from Borussia M’gladbach, among other clubs, but he eventually left Marseille for Lorient last summer.

And after he impressed playing for les Merlus to score 12 goals and produce 7 assists in 31 league outings, the 23-year-old could again be moving clubs this summer.

Having learned of interest from Germany, Ayew admits he would love to continue his career in Bundesliga.

“I can very well imagine to play in Germany. Bundesliga is one of the strongest leagues in the world,” the forward confessed to Sport Bild.

Some of the German clubs currently in the market for a centre forward include Borussia Dortmund, Schalke, Hoffenheim, Stuttgart and Hannover, and there is a chance some of them will decide to act following Ayew’s latest comments.

Jordan Ayew, who had begun his professional career at Marseille, has another three years left on his current deal with Lorient.
