Everton and Liverpool drew 2-2 in the Premier League Merseyside Derby on Saturday.
The football on display in the game was far from bad, but most of the attention afterwards unfortunately went to the obvious failures of VAR.
One of those situations came about after 10 minutes, when Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford took out Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk with this clearly malicious tackle and went unpunished.
