Feyenoord captain Jordy Clasie has admitted that he is considering leaving De Kuip and moving to another country.
The 23-year-old is widely regarded as one of Eredivisie star players and he was on the verge of joining FC Porto in the summer.
However, the midfielder is now set to finish the season at De Kuip, but a summer exit could be on the cards.
Speaking ahead of the Europa League match against AS Roma, Clasie has confirmed he is tempted by the prospect of playing abroad, with a move to Italian Serie A also a possibility.
“Right now I’m 100 per cent focused on Feyenoord, but I nurture the dream of playing abroad someday, perhaps in Italy,” Clasie told reporters at a pre-match press conference.
The highly rated footballer is one of the most talented players to have come out of club’s youth academy in recent years and he already has 11 Netherlands caps.
Clasie made a total of five appearances for Oranje at the 2014 World Cup, starting three of those matches.
