Feyenoord captain Jordy Clasie has emerged as a top target for Serie A giants Lazio, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Netherlands international seems to have outgrown Dutch Eredivisie and a big club move is clearly on the cards.
And with Lucas Biglia catching the eye of top European sides, Lazio aim to reinforce the midfield area by luring Jordy Clasie from Feyenoord.
Everybody at the club has been impressed with the impact Stefan de Vrij has made since joining last summer and they hope his former teammate will enjoy a similar start to his career at Stadio Olimpico.
Jordy Clasie, 23, is another impressive product that came through Feyenoord’s youth academy and he already has five full seasons behind him.
The playmaker has so far made 163 Eredivisie appearances for the club, scoring 10 goals and producing 29 assists. The midfielder also has 11 Netherlands caps to his name and he took part at the 2014 World Cup finals.
