Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is working hard to convince Manchester City to sign the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star from Juventus, according to 90min. Premier League champions City were offered the 36-year-old forward earlier this summer, but they turned it down.
At the time, City, who reached the final of the Champions League last season, were chasing Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur. However, the England international striker has since said that he will stay at Tottenham, and the Citizens may now have to focus on signing another player upfront.
Ronaldo joined Juventus from Madrid in the summer of 2018. The former United star scored 21 goals in Serie A in 2018-19, 31 goals in the league in 2019-20, and 29 goals in 2020-21.
