Jorgensen set to return

Fiorentina winger Martin Jorgensen is close to returning to action, according to his agent.

The 33-year-old has been struggling with fitness problems this season.

“It just needs a little patience and Martin will be back on the pitch,” Ippolito Gallovich told La Nazione.

“He was struck down with a fever a few weeks ago and then he had something of a relapse.

“He had gone back to work with his teammates, but every night he was suffering from a temperature and he struggled in training.

“I have spoken to him on the phone and medical tests have shown that it is the flu virus but nothing more than that.

“Jorgensen is calm and optimistic and he thinks the Fiorentina medical staff have handled the situation impeccably.”
