Speaking to Football Italia, Napoli midfielder Jorginho has revealed he would like to play in the Premier League.
The Brazil-born Italian international has been heavily linked with Liverpool in recent weeks, though links to Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United also appear occasionally.
With Emre Can seemingly set to leave the club, manager Jürgen Klopp will most probably look to add to the depth in midfield, despite the imminent arrival of RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita on July 1st. Arsenal are having similar issues with Jack Wilshere, while the two Manchester clubs are actively pursuing long-term replacements for Fernandinho and Michael Carrick respectively.
A player of intelligent positioning and ability to dictate games from the middle of the park with extremely skilful passing, there is no doubt that Jorginho ticks all the boxes for any of the three clubs, and it will be interesting to see what his choice will be.
