Spanish daily newspaper Superdeporte claims that Paris Saint-Germain are keeping close tabs on Valencia full-back Jose Gaya.
The Saints are preparing for life after Maxwell, and they seem to want the Spanish defender to challenge Layvin Kurzawa for a starting berth on the left.
Superdeport claims that PSG will make a move on the 21-year-old footballer in the winter transfer window, but chances are los Che will not be keen on selling their prized asset.
Despite his fragile age, Gaya is widely regarded as one of Europe’s leading left-sided defenders and he has already been linked with El Clasico rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Gaya has so far featured in 66 La Liga matches, scoring 1 goal in the process, while making 7 Champions League appearances.
The talented youngster has a deal until June 2020 at Mestalla, meaning that he will not be available on the cheap.
