Russian newspaper Izvestia understands that Swansea are lining up a bid for Spartak Moscow midfielder Jose Jurado.
The Liberty Stadium outfit sit mere three points above the relegation zone and they are eager to reinforce the squad in the January window.
And with star player Michu set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines, Michael Laudrup is determined to sign a worthy replacement for the Spaniard.
According to Izvestia, Swansea have made Spartak Moscow star Jose Manuel Jurado their number one target.
The Spaniard seems to have fully adapted to the new surroundings following a slow start to his career in Russia, having made 18 league stars this term, scoring 6 goals in the process.
The problem is he will not come on the cheap having established himself as a key member of the side that is competing for the Russian Premier League title for the first time after quite a while.
