Italian midfielder Jose Mauri is unhappy with his current status at San Siro, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
AC Milan had to beat off competition from quite a few top clubs to secure his signature last summer as the 19-year-old arrived on a free transfer from Parma.
But, the Argentine-born midfielder has since struggled to play himself into the first team plans of coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, failing to make a single Serie A appearance this season.
As a result, Mauri was desperate to leave AC Milan on loan in the January window and thus secure much needed playing time, but the boss opted against letting him leave.
The youngster’s agent recently confirmed to the media that his client couldn’t be satisfied with the lack of first team action, having behaved as a model professional from the moment he arrived at San Siro.
It remains to be seen whether his situation will change between now and the end of the season, but Mauri will have no shortage of offers if he eventually decides to quit the Rossoneri.
