Eric Dier hastily left the pitch and ran down the tunnel with just over 10 minutes to go during Tottenham Hotspur’s triumph over Chelsea (on penalties, after the game ended 1-1), and head coach Jose Mourinho ran after him apparently livid. Dier soon returned and was admitted back into the game.
It was later revealed that he simply had to go to the bathroom.
