The head coaches of AS Roma and Sampdoria, Jose Mourinho and Dejan Stankovic, are good friends from their historic days together when Mourinho coached Inter Milan and Stankovic was one of his most important players in the team that won the Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Champions League in 2010.
Stankovic, however, previously played for Lazio, and it seems the Roma faithful aren’t ready to forget that. As Roma and Sampdoria took each other on at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday, the home supporters started insulting Stankovic.
Until Mourinho stood up and raised his hand.
