Jose Mourinho Thinks Paul Pogba Will Lose His Status As The World’s Most Expensive Player Next Summer

Every season the amount of money paid to sign new players rises and this summer will be no different says, Jose Mourinho. The Manchester United manager currently has the world’s most expensive player at his disposal in Paul Pogba. The French international signed for a record fee of just short of 90 million and was one of the special ones first signings for the red devils. Mourinho thinks that the amount paid by his club to secure Pogba’s signature will look like pocket change once the new campaign kicks off.

Mourinho says he will be glad once the world record fee is smashed once again as it will help his player. He feels that too much scrutiny has been made of his star player’s performances due to the amount of money paid out for him. The Man U manager went on to say how happy he is with the midfielder performances and that other clubs will end up signing players for more that are nowhere near Pogba’s qualities.

At 23 years old Pogba still has a lot to learn but he has made the rapid process so far this season after a slow start. He has given the team much-needed balance and has proved that he is leadership quality. He is great at both ends of the pitch and has added steel in a weak midfield. It is down to his recent performances why Man U are back in the hunt for Champions League finnish. If any of the teams above them slip up they will be ready to take their place and this season’s challenge for a top four finish has never been so competitive or close.

If Man U are successful of their pursuit of Antoine Griezmann in the summer they could end up breaking the world record fee for the second time. He is one of the best players in the world and Atlético Madrid does not want to let him go without a fight. With the temptation of over 90 million for a single player, it will be almost impossible for them to turn it down. With Podga and Griezmann in the team, you would expect the Red Devils to be challenging for the title once again.

With the influx of vast domes of money pouring in from China it is not going to be long before we see the sale of the first player over 100 million. It is rumored that Man U legend Wayne Rooney is off in the summer to join the Chinese football revolution. He has reportedly been offered one million per week which is crazy when you consider how fast he can now run. It is over double his current wages which are at astronomically high levels for a player that is a fourth choice striker.

If you are thinking about putting on a bet on the world record fee being broken this summer make sure you use a promotion code alongside it. Before signing up though always read the instructions on how to withdraw your bonus and check wager amount applicable.
