Jose Mourinho wants to sign Torino striker Andrea Belotti for his new club AS Roma, according to Calciomercato. Mourinho will become the new manager of Italian club Roma at the end of the season following his recent sacking by Tottenham Hotspur, and the former Manchester United and Chelsea boss is already drawing up transfer targets.
Belotti is one of the best strikers in Serie A and has been banging in the goals for fun for a number of years now. Despite Torino fighting for survival in the top flight of Italian club, the 27-year-old has consistently found the back of the net. Belotti has scored 12 goals and provided six assists in Serie A this season, and he found the back of the net 16 times in the league in 2019-20 and 15 times in the league in 2018-19.
However, Roma are not the only club who are reportedly interested in the Italy international striker. Tuttosport reported last week that Liverpool and Tottenham are also keen on securing the services of the 27-year-old.
