Jose Mourinho wants Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg at AS Roma

AS Roma head coach Jose Mourinho wants to sign Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, according to Dean Jones. The well-known and well-respected journalist has told GiveMeSport that he has heard that Mourinho is keen on a reunion with the 26-year-old Denmark international at the Italian club.

Mourinho and Hojbjerg worked together at Tottenham, who are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season. The midfielder is one of the better players at Spurs and is an important figure under current head coach Antonio Conte.

Hojbjerg has made 33 appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham this season, scoring two goals and giving two assists in the process. The midfielder scored two goals and provided four assists in 38 Premier League games for Spurs last season.
