Inter Milan are very close to completing a deal to sign forward Stevan Jovetic from Manchester City, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio met with the striker’s agent Fali Ramadani in Milan and they appear to have reached an agreement over personal terms.
Stevan Jovetic will sign a four-year deal worth €3.5 million per season if Inter persuade Manchester City into selling the Montenegrin.
The Citizens wouldn’t mind seeing the 25-year-old leave this summer, but they are holding out for €20 million, whilst the Nerazzurri’s current offer stands at €15 million.
Nevertheless, with the striker desperate to join Inter Milan in the summer transfer window, it is believed the two sides will eventually find an agreement.
Stevan Jovetic enjoyed several very successful seasons in Italian Serie A while playing for Fiorentina and he now looks set to return to the league following a two-year spell in England.
