Jovetic linked with Italy return

Italian daily newspaper Il Mattino has suggested that Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic could be returning to Italian Serie A in the summer.

The Montenegrin joined the Citizens in a €30 million move from Fiorentina, but he has failed to prove his worth at Etihad this term.

And with Manchester City likely to consider cashing in on the 24-year-old, Napoli seem to have reignited their interest in the forward.

The Azzurri missed out on their target last summer, but they are hoping to make things right in the upcoming transfer window, with Jovetic set to be available for €20 million.

Stevan Jovetic has missed the big chunk of the current season through various injuries and he could only score 6 goals in 18 competitive appearances.

The Montenegro international could be tempted by a chance to return to Italian Serie A as he desperately need to be playing football on regular basis.
