Jovetic rules out a move to Barcelona
Fiorentina forward, Stevan Jovetic has rejected the approach from Barcelona in order to play regular football at Viola.
The Montenegrin forward caught Barca’s attention after the impressive season in Serie A but not even the prospect of playing at Camp Nou was enough for Jovetic to consider leaving Fiorentina.
He said: “Barcelona are the biggest club in the world, but they have already signed Villa. I don’t want to say it would be difficult to play at Barcelona but I want to play regular football. And here I can further improve my skills.”
It is so rare nowadays to see such a young player showing such maturity when making decisions that have the power to decide his whole future, since there are not too many players in the world that could break a three-man attack of Messi, Villa and Iniesta at Camp Nou.
A couple of more years at Fiorentina would see Jovetic become one of the best forwards in the world and then his next team will have to adapt to him and not vice versa.

Jonathan Bornstein agrees a deal with Tigres
United States World Cup star Jonathan Bornstein is leaving MLS side Chivas USA and will join Tigres UNAL when his current contract expires on 1st January.
Bornstein’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season and he has already chosen his next destination.
The left-back was just one of four home-based players in USA World Cup squad and he started the games against Algeria and Ghana. After four years at Chivas, the 25-year-old has opted for a new challenge.
“I’m excited to join Tigres and ready for all the changes that will come with the move. It will be a big moment for me and I’m looking forward to it.”
Jonathan Bornstein will not count as a foreign player in Mexican top tier as his mother is from Mexico.
The move to Tigers will certainly represent a step up for the USA international and maybe this could be a stepping stone for his move to Europe in the near future.

Raul set for a Premiership move
Real legend Raul has snubbed a couple of German clubs as he wants to finish his career in Premier League.
Raul’s contract with Real is set to expire and los Merengues have already hired an agent to secure him a move to England. Tottenham and Newcastle United are on alert.
Agent Barry O’Connor, who’s been hired by Real Madrid to find a club for Raul in England shouldn’t have such a difficult job.
“With the player of such a pedigree, there is always a lot of interest, but nothing will happen until Real officially say he can leave.”
This will be good news for both Tottenham and Newcastle, who have already declared interest in Raul and the opportunity of signing such a good player on a free transfer comes only once in every few years.
Raul is still capable of playing at a very high level, and I don’t envisage he will have a lot of problems adjusting to the Premier League style, since his experience and quality should compensate for all the possible difficulties he could come across.
He’s just turned 33 and his goal poaching skills could prove to be quite an asset for both Tottenham and Newcastle should they opt to sign him.
