Jovic staying at Real Madrid?

According to a recent report from Marca, Real Madrid star Luka Jovic will not be leaving the Spanish giants during the summer transfer window despite recent claims that have been made in the media. The reports from over in Serbia indicated that Jovic could be loaned out, mainly due to him being unable to impress manager Zinedine Zidane during the pre-season with Real.

Alas, even if that’s true and he didn’t impress Madrid all too much, you’d have to imagine that the £55 million fee they paid for him would command a little bit more respect (and time) for Luka.

Nobody knows how he’s going to fare until the competitive football actually begins for Real, but one way or another, it doesn’t seem like he’s going to be given all too many chances – especially if he goes on a bad run of form.

As we know, it can be pretty difficult to change the mind of a man like Zidane.
