(GSM) – Juan Aurich are back alive in Group 3 of the Copa Libertadores following a 2-0 win over Bolivar on Wednesday.
The Peruvians had lost their opening match to Estudiantes, 5-1, while Bolivar of Bolivia lost 1-3 to Alianza Lima.
Juan Aurich did not need long to score the opening goal at their own Elias Aguirre stadium, as Colombian Roberto Ciciliano put the hosts ahead on 11 minutes.
The second goal came eight minutes before the break and was scored by Panama international striker Luis Tejada.
The Peruvians are now in third place in this group, having a worse goal record than second-placed Estudiantes.
