Roma defender Juan has agreed to a new deal, which will see him stay on at the club until 2014 after holding talks with Roma on Friday afternoon.

Juan’s current deal was set to expire in June 2011, but his new terms will see his wages rise almost to the level of the club’s strict salary cap, and that is before any bonuses.

Roma have not made an official announcement just yet, but Il Corriere Dello Sport has gone as far as to claim that the deal has been completed.
