Juande Ramos will continue his training career in Russia. The new club of the Spanish coach isn`t Zenit St Petersburg but CSKA Moscow. It was rumoured that Ramos was one of the candidates for the Zenit job but he`s about to sign a contract with CSKA.
Ramos` new club isn’t performing well in the Russian Premier League. After 20 matches CSKA is listed fourth, ten points behind leader Rubin Kazan. In the Champions League the Russians are in group B where they`ll face Manchester United, VFL Wolfsburg and Besiktas.
The former Real Madrid trainer thinks there are enough challenges for him in Moscow.
`CSKA is a big club with a great history and we`ll do anything to compete with clubs in and outside Russia,` Ramos told Marca.
`We`re convinced that we can have a good season with this squad. We`re going to work hard from now on,` the 54-year-old trainer said.
