(GSM) – Celtic’s latest signing Efrain Juarez has revealed that he is delighted to have signed for the Scottish giants.

The Mexico international, who has signed a four-year contract with the Bhoys, will fly into Glasgow this week after securing his work permit.

A star for his nation in this summer’s World Cup finals, Juarez has already linked up with his new team-mates in Sunday’s win over Seattle Sounders.

The 22-year-old utility man, who can operate in a number of positions, is looking forward to helping Celtic reclaim the SPL title this season.

“I’m so happy and excited because I had my first contact with the team, with the coaching staff, and they are as excited as I am,” said Juarez.

“I was with them for practically the whole day. I went to the friendly match and watched from the bench.

“(Joining Celtic) is the best decision I could have taken because the team has given me all the confidence (I need) and my aim is to help keep the club up there in the position it belongs.”
