Wolfsburg star performer Julian Draxler has publicly expressed his desire to leave German outfit during the summer transfer window.
Bundesliga club insisted earlier in the summer that the 22-year-old talent will not be leaving the club amid increased interest from Premier League sides, but Julian Draxler has grown unhappy with how the club treated him so he decided to go public with his own plans and wishes.
Having impressed for Germany at the Euro 2016 with his fine performances have not gone unnoticed, Draxler has apparently informed Wolfsburg coach Dieter Hecking that he wanted out.
“Two days after the European Championship semifinal I told [Hecking] how I saw the whole situation and what I want for myself – specifically to leave the club.”, Draxler was quoted according to German media outlet Bild.
German starlet explained that he had a verbal agreement with his club upon his arrival in 2015 that he would be allowed to leave the club if opportunities presented themselves.
And with both Arsenal and Juventus expressing strong interest in signing the 22-year-old, Wolfsburg are being called to honour their part of the deal.
