June 20th: Tuesday’s EURO Qualifying Double – 9/1 Special, Tips & Predictions

With the EURO qualifiers drawing to a close on Tuesday night, we are treated to a stacked midweek schedule from across Europe.

So, for those of you who are looking to stick on a midweek international flutter, we have found a couple of qualifying showdowns that can offer a great return for your Tuesday bet.

19:45 Iceland vs Portugal

While Portugal might have suffered World Cup heartbreak at the hands of Morocco over the winter, the former European giants have come roaring back in some style since opening 2023. Marking their return to EURO qualifying duties last weekend as they stormed their way to a 3-0 romp at home against Bosnia & Herzegovina, Tuesday’s guests have won each of their first three Group J appearances by an aggregate score of 13-0.

Cruising their way to next year’s European Championships and with their free-scoring flurry highlighted by a 6-0 victory away at Luxembourg on March 26th, Portugal have really impressed since the appointment of former Belgium boss Roberto Martínez earlier in the year.

While a certain Cristiano Ronaldo might continue to steal most of Portugal’s headlines, it is Manchester City superstar Bernardo Silva who has really impressed while on qualifying duties in 2023.

Once again finding the net against Bosnia & Herzegovina a few days ago, the ex-Monaco starlet has now got on the scoresheet in all three of his Group J appearances this year.

While Silva might remain heavily linked with a move away from the Etihad this summer, the 28-year-old will be looking to make another international statement on Tuesday night.

Watching Iceland make an immediate return to losing ways over the weekend as they suffered a worrying 2-1 loss at home against Slovakia, it should be highlighted that the Blues have lost three of their previous four matchups across all formats.

With that run underlined by a 3-0 drumming against Bosnia on Match 23rd, the midweek hosts will certainly face a heavyweight challenge here.

Betting Tip: Bernardo Silva to score anytime @ 16/5 with Pribet

19:45 Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Luxembourg

While Bosnia & Herzegovina might have opened their EURO qualifying adventure with a 3-0 romp at home against Iceland on March 23rd, it is fair to say that Tuesday’s guests have come crashing back down to earth. Marking their return to action last weekend with a routine 3-0 loss at the hands of former European champions Portugal, Faruk Hadzibegic’s side have lost three of their last four appearances across all competitions.

However, still with their sights still firmly set on finding a route out of Group J, the Dragons will be more than aware that they face a must-win showdown when they return to the Bilino Polje in midweek.

Despite seeking some recent stability since opening 2023, Bosnia should be excited by their continued purple patch on home soil.

In fact, on a run that is highlighted by that 3-0 victory against Iceland earlier in the year, Tuesday’s hosts have won all of their last five matchups in Zenica by an aggregate score of 9-2.

Although Luxembourg might have claimed what was a routine 2-0 win at home against Group J whipping boys Liechtenstein a few days ago, the Red Lions have shown some extended issues over the past 12 months.

Mustering just a pair of wins from their last 10 appearances and tipped as a landslide underdog to punch a famous European Championship ticket, the midweek guests will also be concerned by a nightmare record against Bosnia.

Remarkably losing all seven of their previous meetings against the Dragons by an aggregate score of 17-1, we are expecting a home victory here.
