One of UK’s leading sport betting operators Ladbrokes has just opened betting on the next permanent Manchester United manager, with Borussia Dortmund’s Jurgen Klopp the early favourite to succeed David Moyes.
The Scot has been chosen by Sir Alex Ferguson as his successor at Old Trafford, but it appears his position is already under threat following a run of disappointing results in the Premiership.
A four-match winless run that included back to back home defeats to Everton and Newcastle has all but ended United’s title bid, with their top 4 place also in danger.
As a result, doubts have arisen over the manager’s long-term future at the club, with possible replacements already being mentioned in the media.
Ladbrokes has made Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp a 6/1 favourite to become next permanent Manchester United boss, with the German largely impressing at Signal-Iduna Park.
Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola is available at 8/1, with old rivals Sir Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho both 10/1 at the moment.
Current members of the coaching staff Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville also appear to be in the mix, even if club chiefs remain adamant David Moyes’ job is safe.
