Jurgen Klopp to sign a new deal at Dortmund

Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund are set to receive a welcoming boost as coach Jurgen Klopp is close to signing a new deal at the club.

The man who has led Dortmund to unimagined heights this season has a contact until June 2012, but his agent reveals Klopp is ready to sign a two-year contract extension.

“Both sides want it. Now, we have to just sit still and find a way that it works well,” Marc Kosicke said.

The agreement should be reached before the end of the year to the delight of a large Borussia fan base.

BVB have been going strong ever since Klopp took over the reigns in July 2008, but the Millionaires are enjoying especially successful Bundesliga campaign this season as they currently lead the race with 7 points to spare and are 14 points clear of Bayern Munich.
