Premier League giants Tottenham are reportedly scouting Justin Kluivert, son of the legendary forward Patrick Kluivert, who currently plays as a right winger for Dutch club Ajax, according to Sky Sports News.
The young winger has been a player of interest for Spurs since 2016 and has recently forced his way into the Ajax senior team, featuring seven times in the Eredivisie so far this season. Kluivert also made six appearances in the Europa League last campaign as Ajax made it all the way to the final, eventually losing out to Manchester United.
Tottenham have a strong history of signing talented players from Ajax. The North London club’s latest acquisition from the Dutch side was central defender Davinson Sánchez, who has already cemented his place in Mauricio Pochettino’s starting XI and put it some highly impressive performances.
Both Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen, two of Spurs’ most important players, made the switch from Ajax and Justin Kluivert could well become the latest product of the Dutch club’s youth programme to experience success in North London.
