Turin-based media outlet Tuttosport has suggested that Juventus and Chelsea are locked in the battle for HNK Rijeka striker Andrej Kramaric.
The 23-year-old has caught the eye of Europe’s top clubs with some excellent displays for club and country this season and he is almost certain to leave his current employers in January.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus seem to be leading the chase, having reportedly agreed a five-year deal with the striker’s father, but the Bianconeri are likely to face stiff competition from England.
Namely, Jose Mourinho is a big fan of the Croatia hotshot and he is expected to make a move in January even if a new striker is not at the top of his priorities.
Andrej Kramaric has been one of Europe’s in-form strikers this season, having scored impressive 28 goals in as many competitive outings, while scoring two goals in three Euro 2016 qualifiers for Croatia.
