Juventus and Genoa have shown interest in Manchester United want-away striker Dimitar Berbatov, according to The Sun.
The Bulgarian is becoming increasingly frustrated by the lack of playing time at Old Trafford and he could request a summer move before the season is over.
The striker was evidently angry with Sir Alex Ferguson for starting Javier Hernandez over him in the Champions League clash against Marseille and he is thought to be pondering a summer exit from Old Trafford.
Juventus and Genoa have contacted the player’s agent to see if the Bulgarian will be available for transfer and the Serie A clubs could spark a real bidding war in the summer.
Berbatov’s current contract expires in June 2012 and after Sir Alex Ferguson hinted that Chicharito and Rooney would have advantage in attack, everything suggests that he will be looking to move clubs at the end of the season.
