Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has revealed that Juventus and Inter Milan are vying for the signature of Roma midfielder Marquinho.
The Bianconeri have been on the lookout for a left-sided full-back since the transfer window started and have made Napoli’s Camilo Zuniga their number one target.
However, with the Colombian looking increasingly likely to remain at Stadio San Paolo, Juventus are pondering a last-minute swoop for Marquinho.
Meanwhile, Inter are also hoping to lure the Brazilian footballer to Giuseppe Meazza, with Roma holding out for €4 million.
Marquinho made a surprise move to Stadio Olimpico from Fluminense last summer, after spending the previous six months on loan with the Giallorossi.
Despite showing a lot of potential and scoring 7 goals in 41 Serie A appearances, the 27-year-old never quite managed to nail down a regular starting berth.
Since the arrival of new coach Rudi Garcia, Marquinho has made just one substitute appearance in the league.
