Juventus and Inter are locked in the battle for Atalanta midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura, according to Tuttosport.
Antonio Conte is a long-term admirer of the 23-year-old and he has instructed club chiefs to try and lure him to Turin in the summer transfer window.
The Bianconeri boss believes Bonaventura would be a perfect solution for the position of left winger in the 4-3-3 formation he plans to use next season.
Meanwhile, Inter are also keeping close tabs on the highly rated footballer, although their interest could cool off now that Andrea Stramaccioni has been sacked.
The talented manager was one of the first coaches to recognize Bonaventura’s potential and it remains to be seen whether new boss Walter Mazzarri will have the same opinion.
Giacomo “Jack” Bonaventura, who came through the youth ranks at Atalanta, has clocked up 67 Serie A appearances for Orobici and scored 9 goals in the process.
