Juve in fresh assault on Lulic
Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Juventus are stepping up their efforts to sign Lazio full-back Senad Lulic.
It is no secret the Bianconeri boss Antonio Conte is looking to lure the Bosnian to Turin, but Lazio’s €18 million asking price is proving to be a problem.
Nevertheless, Juventus officials plan to lower the amount by including one or two players in the deal, with Angelo Ogbonna and Mauricio Isla tipped to move in the opposite direction.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Lazio are also showing interest in Sebastian Giovinco, whereas they are no longer keen on Fabio Quagliarella.
Senad Lulic, 28, has established himself as an important member of the squad at Stadio Olimpico and has managed no less than 7 goals in 29 league outings this season.
Lazio play host to Bologna on the final day of the season, with Biancocelesti priced at 4/9 to emerge victorious.
MLS starlet to join Sporting Lisbon
Sporting Kansas City midfielder Oriol Rosell has reportedly agreed to join Sporting Lisbon, according to CNN journalist John Sinnott.
The Lions seem to have secured the signature of the highly rated footballer, with Sinnott announcing the news via his official Twitter account.
“1. Transfer news: Former La Masia graduate Oriol Rosell returning to Europe. Leaving Sporting Kansas City for Sporting Lisbon,” Sinnott wrote.
Oriol Rosell has largely impressed since joining the MLS side from Barcelona, making a total of 42 league appearances and scoring 2 goals.
His excellent displays did not go unnoticed as he has reportedly earned a chance to return to European football.
The player, who made six appearances for Barcelona B before leaving for the United States, has played one match for the Catalonia national team.
Napoli line up Artur swoop
Napoli are considering a summer move for Benfica goalkeeper Artur Moraes, reports Portuguese newspaper A Bola.
The Azzurri need to have a contingency plan in place if they fail to turn Pepe Reina’s loan move into permanent deal and they are currently looking at a number of experienced shot-stoppers.
According to A Bola, Benfica veteran Artur Moraes is one of the first names on their wish list ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Eagles goalkeeper has this year lost his place in the starting line-up and he reportedly plans to leave Estadio da Luz at the end of the season.
Having played for Siena and Roma, the Brazilian already holds an Italian passport, which makes him even more appealing to the Azzurri.
Artur Moraes, 33, joined Benfica from Sporting Braga in the summer of 2011 and has since made a total of 73 league appearances.
