Juventus are interested in bringing Manchester City’s Phil Foden and Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho to Turin, according to Tuttosport.
Foden started his professional career with City in 2016/17, an though he didn’t play a single minute for them in that campaign, he has made 15 appearances, scored one goal and assisted three times in the sky-blue shirt to date. Manager Pep Guardiola rates the 18-year-old highly, and the midfielder is reportedly in line for a new, improved deal with the club, which would make it very hard for Juventus to prize him away.
On the other hand, Sancho has already signed a new deal that is set to keep him at the Signal Iduna Park until the summer of 2022. Having left Manchester City last year, the 19-year-old winger played 12 games in the Bundesliga last season, scoring one goal and getting four assists to his name. This term he has already surpassed that number with five in a dazzling start to the campaign.
It remains to be seen how serious the interest from the Italian champions is and whether they would be able to pull either deal off.
