Turin based giants Juventus have offered Czech playmaker Pavel Nedved, who retired from football last month, a backroom staff role.
The former Czech Republic international helped Juventus finish runners-up in Serie A and announced his retirement from football.
However, reports in Italy claim that Serie A champions Inter Milan are considering to recruit the 36-year-old to the San Siro this summer to reinforce their midfield.
But, Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli has brushed aside those rumours and believes Nedved is unlikely to reconsider his decision to retire from active football.
“I would be surprised if he did,” Cobolli Gigli told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I can only say that it would be a pleasure that Pavel returns to us.
“Before he went on holiday he spoke to (Juve coach Ciro) Ferrara, who offered him a place in the coaching staff. I would be delighted if he accepted.”
