Juve propose Llorente-Alex Sandro swap; Schalke keen on Shaqiri

hot-transfer-newsJuve propose Llorente-Alex Sandro swap

Portuguese daily newspaper A Bola has learned that Italian giants Juventus and FC Porto could be involved in a high-profile swap deal.

The Dragons coach Julen Lopetegui is desperate to lure Fernando Llorente to Estadio do Dragao and has already spoken with his compatriot about a possible deal.

Juventus seem ready to allow the Spaniard to leave this summer, but they also hope to sign Alex Sandro from FC Porto.

The Bianconeri are, therefore, ready to do a swap deal, although they would also have to send some money in the opposite direction due to the fact that Llorente and Alex Sandro are valued at €15m and 25m respectively.

Fernando Llorente is almost certain to leave Juventus this summer after they signed the likes of Mario Mandzukic, Paulo Dybala and Simone Zaza.

The Bianconeri face Lazio in Italian Super Cup on 8th August and they can be backed at 1/1 to emerge victorious.

Schalke keen on Shaqiri

Bundesliga outfit Schalke will attempt to hijack Stoke City’s deal for Inter Milan midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri, according to Il Messaggero.

The Potters agreed a £12 million fee with the Nerazzurri few days ago, but they seem to have problems persuading the midfielder to move to the Britannia Stadium.

As a result, Schalke aim to match their bid for the Switzerland hotshot and lure Shaqiri to Veltins Arena instead.

The Miners look set to offload Kevin-Prince Boateng and Jefferson Farfan, and will in turn sign at least one attacking midfielder.

Xherdan Shaqiri only joined Inter Milan in January, but he has largely struggled for form in Italian Serie A.

The 23-year-old managed 15 league appearances, scoring one goal, and everything suggests that his spell at Giuseppe Meazza has come to an end.

Villa eyeing French defender

Aston Villa are hot on the trail of Nice full-back Jordan Amavi, according to French daily newspaper L’Equipe.

The Villans recently completed a £9m deal to sign Idrissa Gueye from Lille and it looks as they could continue shopping in France.

According to the latest reports, Aston Villa are keen on Nice defender Jordan Amavi and they have already established contact with his representatives.

The Villans are ready to offer the 21-year-old a long-term contract that would see his current salary tripled, although they also need to find an agreement with Lille.

Jordan Amavi has enjoyed a thoroughly impressive season with les Dogues, starting 36 Ligue 1 games and scoring 4 goals.

He has recently been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid, but it appears Aston Villa have emerged as the favourites for his signature.
