Tuttosport is reporting that Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are locked in the battle for AC Milan full-back Ignazio Abate.
The experienced defender has one year left on his deal at San Siro and with contract extension talks not progressing as planned, he is almost certain to leave the Rossoneri this summer.
New Juventus boss Max Allegri is a big fan of the Italy international and he will attempt to lure him to Turin as the former Milan coach plans to use a 4-3-1-2 formation at his new club.
However, the Bianconeri could face competition from Paris Saint-Germain, who are expected to reignite their interest in Abate.
Namely, the Saints have agreed to sell right-back Christophe Jallet to Lyon, but will not sanction the sale until they have found him a replacement, and the Milan defender is one of the first names on their wish list.
Ignazio Abate has spent his entire career up to date as a Milan player, albeit enjoying five loan spells, making 136 Serie A appearances and scoring one goal.
