It has become open knowledge that the Bianconeri are in the market for an attacking midfielder. Moreover they were believed to be closing in on a move for Inter Milan’s 29 year old Serbian star, Dejan Stankovic.
However that transfer is now allegedly on the verge of collapsing after Juventus’ supporters campaigned against the signing.
Tuttosport reports that the club is now ready to make their move for Galatasaray’s Arda Turan. The 21-year-old Turkish winger has been one of the stars of his country’s dream run to the semi-finals at this summer’s European Championships.
Frenchman Jonathan Zebina is already of interest to Galatasaray, and Juve are read to offer the defender, along with midfielder Sergio Almiron in exchange for Arda according to reports in Italian media.
