Juventus have reignited their interest in Porto defender Rolando, according to report from La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Juventus scouts were among more than 20 representatives of top European clubs watching Sevilla play Porto in midweek.
The Old Lady emissaries were impressed by Rolando’s defensive performance at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan as well as his goal just before the hour mark.
Juve scouts had also watched the Porto defender play for Portugal against Argentina in Geneva few weeks back and they look to be preparing a summer assault on the player after failing to materialize their interest in January.
Rolando has a contract with Porto until 2014 with his release clause standing at €30 million, although the Bianconeri are unlikely to offer more than €20 million for the 25-year-old.
