Italian champions Juventus have reignited their interest in Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic, Tuttosport has revealed.
The Bianconeri will stay without Alessandro Matri and possibly Fernando Llorente this summer, while Carlos Tevez could also decide to leave.
And while they have secured the signature of Paulo Dybala and will soon complete the purchase of Simone Zaza, Juventus officials hope to recruit another high-profile striker.
According to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri are looking at long-term target Mario Mandzukic, who could be allowed to leave Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window.
Juventus missed out on his signature a year ago, but they now hope to make things right and lure the former Bayern Munich star to Turin.
Mario Mandzukic, 29, has scored 20 goals in 43 competitive fixtures since joining los Colchoneros last summer, but coach Diego Simeone is not entirely satisfied with his contribution last season and is reportedly ready to listen to offers for his services.
