Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Juventus are stepping up their interest in Italy Under-21 striker Simone Zaza.
The Bianconeri have been keeping close tabs on the highly rated youngster for quite a while, but they appear to be ready to make their interest concrete.
Zaza is currently co-owned by Sampdoria and Atalanta, but the good news is both clubs are ready to do business with the Old Lady.
While Samp would settle for half of Manolo Gabbiadini’s rights in exchange for their share of Simone Zaza, Atalanta are believed to be holding out for €4 million.
However, even if Juventus manage to lure the youngster to Turin, he would probably be allowed to leave on a season-long loan due to the fierce competition for places in attack.
Zaza, 22, has exploded onto the big stage last season, making 35 Serie B appearances for Ascoli and scoring 18 goals in the process.
