Italian champions Juventus will make another check on long-term target Sime Vrsaljko when they host Sassuolo on Monday evening, Tuttosport can reveal.
The two clubs have established excellent relations of late, with Domenico Berardi and Simone Zaza widely expected to return to Turin in the summer.
And it appears they could be joined by current teammate Sime Vrsaljko, who has been on Juventus radar for some two years now.
The Bianconeri officials have been impressed with the Croatian full-back and they like the fact that he can operate on either flank.
Tomorrow’s Serie A game against Sassuolo will be another opportunity for Juventus technical department to take a closer look at the 23-year-old, who could be moving to Turin at the end of the current campaign.
Sime Vrsaljko joined Sassuolo from Genoa last summer and he has so far made 17 league appearances for the new employers.
The talented defender has 10 Croatia caps to his name and he started two matches for Vatreni at the 2014 World Cup.
