Juventus new coach Antonio Conte is keen on Arsenal winger Theo Walcott, Tuttosport reports.
The Bianconeri boss has been encouraged by Walcott’s recent statements and he could now instruct the club chiefs to make a move for the England international.
The Arsenal winger recently said that the Gunners would struggle to keep their best players after another trophy-less season.
Juventus will reportedly have around €100 million to spend this summer and they plan to use a portion of the hefty transfer kitty to bring Walcott to Olimpico.
The Old Lady have also shown interest in Lyon winger Michel Bastos, but Theo Walcott remains the preferred option since he wouldn’t take up one non-EU place in the squad that is allowed per season.
Juventus have already signed Andrea Pirlo and Reto Ziegler, while the Bianconeri are reportedly close to securing the deals for Gokhan Inler and Stephen Lichtsteiner.
