Juventus are likely to miss out on Andrea Barzagli after Wolfsburg denied the player was available for sale.
The former Italy international, whose contract is set to expire at the end of the season, was heavily linked with a move to Juventus, but Wolfsburg general director, Dieter Hoeness rejects the claims.
“Andrea Barzagli is our player and he’ll continue to be for the rest of the season,” Hoeness told Deutsche Pressagentur.
“Wolfbsurg have received no transfer request from the player and no offer from Juventus for our defender.”
This basically means the World Cup winner will stay at Wolfsburg until June, when he will available on a free transfer.
