In a heavyweight showdown on Saturday evening, Juventus will be looking to keep up their recent purple patch when they travel to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

Starting with the hosts, while Napoli might have thought they had managed to turn a corner after picking up back-to-back wins when drawing a close to January, the Blues have only continued to show a host of inconsistencies this season. Now only just about hanging onto their spot in the top-six thanks to their goal difference, Gli Azzurri put in what was another worrying display on Coppa Italia duties in midweek. Eventually hit with a deserved 3-1 drumming away at Atalanta on Thursday, Head Coach Gennaro Gattuso finds himself under more pressure in Naples. Without a win to their name since opening February, it should also be noted that the former AC Milan boss saw his side get hit with a shock 2-1 loss away at Genoa in their last Serie A appearance last weekend.

As for the visitors, managing to book their spot in the final of this year’s Coppa Italia thanks to a 2-1 aggregate win against Inter Milan earlier in the week, the mood in Juventus’ camp should be at a real high. Arguably enjoying their brightest run under Andrea Pirlo, the Italian giants now have their sights set on making a late charge to reclaim their Serie A crown. With attacking talisman Cristiano Ronaldo continuing on another free-scoring run after turning 36 last weekend, Juve find themselves enjoying an unbeaten run across all formats that stems back to January 17th. In fact, now winning six of their last seven matchups, Pirlo’s men should also be boosted by their most recent meeting against Saturday’s hosts. Landing a 2-0 win and lifting the Super Cup when they faced off against Napoli last month, we’re backing a similar outcome this weekend.
